Hi. When I entre the forum my entire screen seems to wobble and move about( and I havent even had a glass!!). Also the left hand 'bit' under Events seems to encroach over the posts too. Does anyone else have this issue or is it my computer?
Sorry, I dont know the correct terminology to use-not very computer literate am I?
Lyn

Hi Lyn, Are you using a PC or Mac? And which browser? IE, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Opera...? This is not something that's been reported before, and I've no idea what is happening. It's not something I've ever come across anywhere else either. One final question - what size screen are you using? The site has a maximum and minimum width, partly to prevent the events bar sliding over the content.

Ok getting concerned now. I posted three responses earlier today but they are still not showing up anywhere. Am I doing something wrong? Everything worked great when I first signed up.

Hi Mike
I have a PC, using IE and have quite a large screen. It may be something to do with my computer because when I access the forum at work there is no problem. The wobble and encroachment of events bar only seems to occur initially. Once I read people's input it has settled down, so its not a huge issue.

I'd fix it if I could find a problem :) I build in Firefox and test in Chrome, Opera, Safari and IE8. Unfortunately IE9 crashes my computer every time I try to install it, so there may be an IE8/9 issue I'm not aware of. If only the browsers would agree on a set standard most of the problems would disappear - but IE has always been the maverick of the bunch.

Welcome Michelle! You will only need approval for your first few posts - and you've already exceeded that number and qualified as a fully registered member! We're using it as an anti-spam measure so I can catch spam posts before they're made public.

Hi Mike

I posted one of my drawings of a German Shepherd dog about a week and a half ago, maybe longer. It still hasn't appeared. Was there a problem with the post or did I post it incorrectly?

Hi Vicki. You're a full registered user, so your post should have appeared immediately. New members need approval before their posts appear but I check three or for times a day and there's nothing in the queue at present.

I think we'd better just blame the Gremlins... so, with apologies, I think you need to post it again.

Thanks Mike. I'll try again. You might remember I have priors for messing up posts when I was involved in your online art course as Maggie.

Hi Mike
I started a WIP post this evening and my attachment looked like it uploaded but doesn't appear in the post. It was a photo saved to my puter from my iphone. Should I be doing something extra?

Annie, after successfully uploading, you get an extra button 'insert into message'. You need to click it for your image to appear. Hope this helps!

Hi Jack and welcome to TDF! There appeared to be a password problem so I reset it to the one you supplied, and now everything appears to be working well.

Hello,

I have just put a post onto the forum which has been approved and I have not had any feed back on my post. You will have to forgive me this is the first time that i have ever been on a any forum and am not sure how they work. I love drawing and would just like to learn from all the talent on this forum.

The post is my first drawing on the forum by Drawings by Craig

Thank you for your time,

Craig,
