Agh, being really thick - can't get images to upload??

Postby RowanTreeArt » Sun May 31, 2015 1:04 pm

Hi!

Sorry, I'm being really thick. I've read posts and threads but I simply cannot get my images to upload properly?? The threads in the animal forum have very nice little thumbnails that become larger when you click on them; but mine simply seem to just be huge and in the thread itself?

I have put them onto photobucket as it says you can't link directly to photos on your PC, which is fair enough. I've checked the sizes and they are within the specifications for this forum, and they are jpgs; can someone give me the total idiots guide to uploading them properly??

This is an example of one I've tried to link to/upload:

I'm using the "image" link from photobucket......?

Thanks!!!

Hello

I'm new to the site and very interested in graphite/charcoal work. Saw your piece here and just had to tell you I thought your work is tremendous. Really appreciate all the texture you show. Really impressive. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, and I also haven't figured the pic upload yet either!

Same boat. In the past, I've uploaded pics straight to this site. Is something broken, or has the feature been removed?

Eventually, I saw the Upload attachment tab under the text window in the full editor.

The trick then becomes getting images down to that little 500 KB size.
