COMPOSITION Workshop
COMPOSITION and PERSPECTIVE - October 14/15, 2017
Venue: My studio - Thirsk, North Yorkshire, UK
There are still places available.
I've installed a projector in my studio (imagine a 96" TV) and the workshop will include the understanding and use of perspective, which is an integral compositional tool.
Composition is something that fascinates me. I'll introduce you to all the tricks, from pointers to stoppers; the variety of compositional layouts; we'll analyse a selection of existing artwork; and... we can take the workshop in any direction you want to go. One of the benefits of a studio-based workshop is that I have everything we need to hand. Another is that we feed you... thanks to Jenny's culinary skills
We'll also explore Photoshop - it's an ideal tool for creating composite compositions - and you'll go home with a printed explanation of the basic tools and shortcuts.
